South Korea 2023
Mel and I are back from Busan, South Korea where we took part in the Haeundae Sand Festival. There we worked on a couple soft-packed sand sculptures to commemorate Busan’s 2030 World Expo. The size of each sculpted pile would be anyone’s guess, but a ballpark figure would be about 400 tons a piece; which equates to a lot of sculpting and a lot of me not understanding a single word of Korean.
Great event with a massive turnout, plus yours truly dominated the quicksand event…which is more of a popularity contest vs. a sculpting one, but I’ll take what I can get.
One awesome thing about Korea? Their horror movies
One bad thing about Korea? Their K-pop (which is a horror movie in itself)
Here are a few pics, enjoy!
